The athlete of the week for the week of June 3 is Ada Mews of the English Valleys softball team.

Mews was red hot from the plate with seven RBIs tallied in two games. In the win over HLV/Tri-County, Mews knocked in one runner while going a perfect 4-4 from the plate.

Mews tallied three more RBIs in the win over Lynnville-Sully on two singles. Lastly, Mews brought home three more runners as the Bears bested Colfax-Mingo by a final score of 11-0.
