Athlete of the Week: Billie Kindred

The athlete of the week for the week of January 8 is Billie Kindred of the Keota Eagles basketball team.
Kindred dropped a double double in the Eagles win over the North Mahaska Warhawks that consisted of 15 points and 13 rebounds. Kindred also tallied five assists, three blocks and a steal.
Kindred has cemented himself as a foundation for the Eagles success, as he averages 10.8 points and 9.9 rebounds per game.
The News-Review would like to congratulate Billie Kindred on a spectacular week of play.
