Athlete of the Week: Caden Clarahan

The athlete of the week for the week of June 17 is Caden Clarahan of the Sigourney Savages baseball team.

Clarahan continues to display that he has one of the best bats in all of high school baseball in the State of Iowa.

This past week, he batted 0.600 with nine runs batted in. He started the week with five RBIs in the win over Keota, and also pitched four innings with two earned runs on two hits, six walks and eight strikeouts. 

The following game against English Valleys, he knocked in four more runners off two singles. 

The final game did not stand out on the stat sheet, but Clarahan found his way on base three of the four times he stepped up to bat. He currently sits in fourth in all classes for highest on-base percentage.
