Athlete of the Week: Gage Heyne

The athlete of the week for the week of May 13 is Gage Heyne of the English Valleys boys track team.
Heyne heroically secured three top six finishes in the three individual events he qualified for. Heyne placed fourth in the 800, sixth in the 1600 and fifth in the 3200.
He was also the anchor leg for the Bears sprint medley team that earned an 11th place with a time of 3:39.74
The News-Review would like to congratulate English Valleys Gage Heyne on a spectacular performance at the 2024 State Track Meet.
