Athlete of the Week: Josephine Moore

The athlete of the week for the week of June 24 is Josephine Moore of the Sigourney Savages softball team.

Moore shined in the win over Keota with two home runs, three RBIs, four innings pitched, no earned runs on one hit and 12 strikeouts.

She followed that performance with three hits and one RBI in the win over English Valleys.

In her last five conference games, she has tallied nine RBIs with a batting average of 0.625.
