Athlete of the Week: Reagan Clarahan

The athlete of the week for the week of May 6 is Reagan Clarahan of the Sigourney Savages girls track team. 

Clarahan cleared her way to the 2024 State Track in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:09.47. Clarahan will head back to the Blue Oval in Des Moines, where she performed in the same event as last year.

Clarahan spoke of her goals for the meet as, “I just want to go out, and run as hard as I can. I would like to be able to run a 1:09 again. Every year at state, I have run faster than I did at district. So, I am hoping I can PR again, but I am just glad to be moved to the second heat this year, instead of the first heat.”
