Athlete of the Week:Carly Goodwin

The athlete of the week for the week of January 1 is senior Carly Goodwin of the Sigourney Savages girls basketball team.

Goodwin was a catalyst for the Savages win over the BGM Bears as she scored the second most points on the team with 15. On top of the big night scoring, Goodwin added seven steals, four assists, three rebounds and a block.

The next day, Goodwin continued to fill out the stat sheet, as she amassed 10 points, seven assists, six rebounds and three steals in the Savages win over the Pekin Panthers.
