Athlete of the Week:Evan Vittetoe

The athlete of the week for the week of February 12 is Evan Vittetoe of the Keota Eagles boys’ basketball team. 

Vittetoe was a main catalyst for the Eagles 87-62 victory over North Tama in the regional semifinals. He had a team high 28 points with 15 coming in the first half and 13 coming in the second half.

His shooting percentage of 86.7% led the team, and helped push the Eagles team shooting percentage to 52.1%.

The News-Review would like to congratulate Keota’s Evan Vittetoe on a spectacular week of play.
