Carolyn Kerkove Erwin, age 76, of Tucson AZ, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the Sandstone Estates in Tucson, AZ, surrounded by her loving family.

Carolyn was born September 3, 1946 in Sigourney IA, the daughter of John Leroy and Addie Louise (Spiess) Kerkove.

On March 21, 1966 she married Glenn Eugene Erwin in Lancaster, MO.

Carolyn worked as a Manager of Food Services in Davenport. Carolyn and Glenn moved to Tucson AZ. in 2005 to escape the Iowa snowy winters, and to be closer to her new grand baby Casey.

She will be dearly missed as a wife, mom, and grandma but will continue to live in our hearts forever.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 57 years Glenn Erwin and their two daughters: Louise Travis and Cindy (Jeff) Myers. Four granddaughters: Sara Travis (Nathan Black), Emily (Jake) Larson, Hanna Travis, and Casey Myers. Carolyn was the youngest of 12 siblings and is survived by her brother Richard (Ann) Kerkove, sisters-in-law Joan Kerkove and Nancy Kerkove.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters: Betty (Jack) Ingle, Harold Kerkove, Kathleen (Howard) Bailey, James (Fern) Kerkove, Mary Jane (Bill) Kerber, Marlene (Paul) Hicks, Pete Kerkove, Raymond (Karen) Kerkove, Francis Kerkove, and Don Kerkove.

The Memorial was held on Sunday April 2, 2023
