Dr. Thomas Paul Greiner, 80, of Moline, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022 peacefully at his home surrounded by family.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11a.m. Monday, June 20 at Christ the King Church, Moline.  Visitation will be 8:30-10:30 a.m., Monday at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111-1st St A, Moline.  Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery.   In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to Illinois Veterinary Medical Association, Mayo Clinic, or Christ the King Church. 

Tom was born February 14, 1942 in Keota, IA the son of Leo and Marvel (Rank) Greiner. He married Pamela Sue Darnall on April 4, 1992 in Moline.  

Tom owned and operated Oak Knoll Animal Hospital L.T.D., Moline. Tom was a world renowned Veterinary surgeon and former President of the Board of Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association. Though a decorated doctor, he also was a member of Christ the King Church and enjoyed traveling, golfing, reading, cooking, and was an avid Packers fan. Above all he loved his family. 

Survivors include his wife, Pam; children, Ashley (Adam) Sams, Edwards, IL, Brittany Rosenthal (Brad Burke), Santa Monica, CA, Christina Greiner, New York, NY; grandchildren, Grayson, Madison & Joel; brothers, Timmy Greiner, Riverside, IA, Jerome (Cheri) Greiner, Riverside, IA, Dr. Rex (Suzan) Greiner, South English, IA; brothers-in-law, Terry King, Rockford, IL and Don Lehman, Birmingham, AL and sister-in-law, Shirley Greiner, Keota, IA.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Pat Greiner and sisters, Bonnie Lehman and Carol Ann King, brother-in-law, Rick Darnall, and mother-in-law, Anna M. Wilson
