English Valleys Boys Vault to First at Section Meet in New London

NEW LONDON—On May 8, the English Valleys Bears headed to Deerwood Golf in New London for their 2024 Sectional Tournament.

Junior Gage Heyne headed the pack for the Bears, as he secured the medalist position with a score of 77. Senior Eli Marsh was right behind Heyne, as he was the runner-up with an 80. The Bears were able to secure the top three scores in the sectional, as freshman Tyler Lortz finished in third with a 84 on the day.

Lastly for the Bears team score, Senior Luke Moore tied for ninth place with a 95.

The English Valleys Bears golf team will return to action on May 13, when they head to Heritage Oaks in Wapello for the 2024 District Tournament.
