Keota Softball Falls to HLV

KEOTA—On June 9, the Keota Eagles hosted the HLV Warriors for a conference matchup. The Eagles fell to the Warriors by a final score of 14-2.

The Warriors jumped out to a 6-0 after the top of the third concluded. The Eagles responded with a run in the bottom of the third, when Kaylee Kindred stormed home on a passed ball. The Eagles added another run in the bottom of the fourth to cut the Warrior lead down to 6-2. The Warriors offense added eight runs in the sixth and seventh en route to the 4-4 victory. 

The Eagles fall to 0-9 on the season, and will return to action on June 12, when they visit the Lynnville-Sully Hawks.
