Myron Lynn Stoner

South English- Myron Lynn Stoner was born October 27, 1948, in Sigourney, Iowa to George William and Helen Jean (Frerris) Stoner. He graduated from English Valleys High School and attended Iowa State University. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and the Korean Conflict. Myron was a farmer and a seed salesman for over forty years. He was a member of multiple seed organizations. He enjoyed the outdoors. Myron died on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at his home near South English, at the age of 75 years.



He is survived by special nieces and nephews Jason Hubbell, Caitlyn Tindall, Cassandra Schilling, Hayley Hubbell Courtney Hubbell and Robert Stoner; as well as other nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents; a brother Wayne Stoner; and three sisters Georgene Hubbell, Sharon Kruger and Donna Mrstik.



A celebration of life visitation will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home in North English. Burial will be in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, Iowa, at a later date. A general memorial fund has been established. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
