National Honor Society Collects Pennies to Pie Teachers and Coaches

The Sigourney National Honor Society members will be hosting the Pennies for Patients event again throughout January. All funds collected will be donated to the VA Central Iowa Healthcare System. NHS members want to give back to America's Heroes. The VA uses donations for the comfort and welfare of Veteran patients. 

Collection buckets are located in the high school lobby. NHS members will also collect donations during the home wrestling meets on Jan.4th and 11th and during the home basketball games on Jan.12th and 30th.

The event will conclude at a school pep rally/assembly with a "pie in the face" for the staff member and for the coaches that receive the most donations.
