New Ad Pricing Effective Immediately

The News-Review, a subsidiary of Mid-America Publishing will be implementing new price changes effective immediately. 

As of the February 22, 2023 billing period the News-Review will be implementing new ad pricing across the board. The black and white ad prices have been increased by 6% from $9.25 to $9.80 per column inch. This includes, thank you’s, card showers and anniversary ads. Color pricing tripled to $3 per column inch with a minimum of $30 and a maximum of $90. The prices for our directory ads (business, church, and  professional) have all  increased from $10.50 to $12 per week. Classified ads are now $10.20 minimum for the first 12 words and $.30 per word after that. If you would like any words bolded or in all caps it will be an additional $.18 per word. 

Obituaries have also been affected. They will now be $100 for 100 words or less with an additional $.25 per word thereafter and will include a 2x5 black and white photo. Death notices will remain free of charge. These changes are in addition to the subscription changes that went into effect in January of this year and are due to the rising costs of the paper and it takes to produce a newspaper.
