Pekin Boys Track Team Hosts The Puritan Relays

PACKWOOD—On March 27, the Pekin Panther hosted the Puritan Relays boys track meet. The Panthers finished the meet in fourth with an aggregate score of 67.

For the team events, the Panthers took home second place in the 4x400 meter relay with a final time of 3:47.54. The Panthers 4x400 team is made up of Will Adam, Nolan Glick, Carson Comstock and Robert Brown. 

The Panthers also took home second place in the 4x100 meter shuttle hurdle with a time of 1:12.88. The 4x100 team is made up of Will Adam, Robert Brown, Kasey Davis and JaeDon Wolver.

For individual events, Pekin’s Brady McWhirter breezed to first place in the 3200 meter run with a time of 10:21.94. 

JaeDon Wolver took home second place in the 400 meter hurdles with a final time of 59.33. Wolver also placed third in the high jump with a highest jump of J5-0.8.00. 

Will Adam placed fourth in the long jump with a longest jump recorded at 18-02.50. He also finished in eight in the 200 meter dash with a final time of 25.13. 

In the shot put event, Caden Bender took home second place with a farthest throw recorded at 39-01.00. 

The Panthers boys track team will return to action on April 4 for the Anderson Relays.
