Sarah Lois Beatty, 86

Sarah Lois Beatty, 86, died August 3, 2023, at the Manor House in Sigourney Iowa. She was

born February 22, 1937, to Frank M. and Lois Elizabeth (Gibbons) Beatty in Sigourney, Iowa.

Sarah graduated from Sigourney High School in 1955 and she graduated from the University of

Iowa. She was a lifelong student of learning. Sarah was active in the Republican Party and the

Farm Bureau. She enjoyed driving and looking at her crops. She was a member of the First

Presbyterian Church in Sigourney, the Presbyterian Woman and P.E.O.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Lois Beatty.

Memorials may be made to an organization or charity of your choice in Sarah’s name. 

Funeral service was held Sunday August 6, 2023 at the Holm Funeral Home.

Visitation prior to service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Burial at Sixteen Cemetery
