SIGOURNEY—On June 6, the Sigourney Savages hosted the Alburnett Pirates for a non-conference matchup. The Savages fell to the Pirates by a final score of 6-2.

The Savage runs came from the bats of Caden Clarahan and Brady Clark. Clarahan ripped an RBI single, while Clark plated a runner with a double.

Chase Clarahan got the start from the bump, and finished his day with four innings pitched, one earned run on two hits and three strikeouts.

The Savages fall to 7-4 on the season, and will return to action on June 7, when they visit the Montezuma Braves.
