Seven Savages Named to SICL All-Conference Teams

1st Team:

Carly Goodwin (unanimous):

Junior Carly Goodwin concluded her season averaging 11.8 points, four rebounds, 1.7 assists and 3.3 steals per game. She finished her season with the fifth most points accumulated throughout the season in the South Iowa Cedar League with 282 points. She also had the second most steals in the conference with 78 total pockets picked. Goodwin will look to replicate a successful season, when she returns next year for her senior season.  

2nd Team:

Josephine Moore:

Sophomore Joesphine Moore wrapped up her season averaging 9.9 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game. Moore totaled 173 rebounds on the year, which was the fifth most in the South Iowa Cedar League. She also finished with the third highest shooting percentage in the conference by shooting 50% from the field. Moore also totaled 75 free throws made on the season, which was the fourth most in the conference. Lastly, Moore totaled the second most offensive rebounds on the year with 84. Moore will look to continue the momentum when she returns for her junior season. 

Isaac Bruns:

Sophomore Issac Bruns wrapped up his second season wearing a Savage uniform averaging 13.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.4 blocks. Bruns accumulated 32 total blocks on the year, which was the fifth most in the South Iowa Cedar League. He also finished with the fifth most defensive rebounds in the conference with 130 secured. In the South Iowa Cedar League-East division, Bruns finished with the third most rebounds secured with 200 total. He also had the third most steals in the division with 51, and the fourth most blocks with 32. 

Honorable Mention:

Rain Barthelman:

Senior Rain Barthelman finished her senior season with the Savages averaging five points, two rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.7 steals per game. Barthelman wrapped her final season as a Savage with an honorable mention selection. 

Zoe Webb:

Senior Zoe Webb concluded her season averaging 6.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game. Webb concludes her final season with the Savages with an honorable mention selection.

Cole Clarahan:

Senior Cole Clarahan finished his season averaging 6.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. Clarahan finished with the fifth highest shooting percentage by shooting 52.1% from the field. Clarahan wrapped up his final season wearing a Sigourney uniform with an honorable mention selection.

Karson Weber:

Senior Karson Weber wrapped up his senior season for Sigourney averaging 11 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Weber finished with the third most three pointers made in the South Iowa Cedar League-East division with 48. Weber also had the third highest three point percentage in the division by shooting 34.3% from behind the arc.
