Sigourney City Clerk Retires

SIGOURNEY – Longtime Sigourney City Clerk Angie Alderson retired at the start of the month, with her duties being taken over by former Deputy Clerk Ashley Fry. Alderson had worked for the city for 25 years, the last 17 of which as clerk. Alderson stated that it was time to retire and that she had four little grandkids she wanted to spend time with. She also plans to use her time to work on quilting projects and volunteer in the community.
