Sigourney Council Approves Purchasing Snow Blower

SIGOURNEY – During the Jan. 2 meeting of the Sigourney City Council, the council approved spending $1,699.99 to purchase a new snow blower from H&M to clear sidewalks. The council plans to have Code Enforcer Doug Glandon clear sidewalks this year and possibly hire a seasonal employee to clear sidewalks next year. At the same meeting, Councilman Gary Iosbaker explained that KCED is planning to meet with city councils, school boards and community organizations to discuss the marketing work KCED has been working on.
