Sigourney Esports Team Ends Regular Season With Two Wins, Five Losses

SIGOURNEY – The Sigourney Esports club played their final two matches of the regular season on Jan. 30. The first match was a 1-3 loss against Wapello, following what Coach Nathan Kelly called “a really good back and forth for the first three rounds.” The Sigourney team won their last match of the regular season against Van Buren 3-2. “It was well played on both sides as we took the first round. The next two were taken by Van Buren. Then we took the last two to get the victory. Playing on the control maps was where we excelled,” said Kelly.

The team ends the regular season 2-5, but could sneak into the playoffs, depending on how other teams do.
