Sigourney Golf Takes Part in Iowa Valley Triangular

MARENGO—On April 28, the Sigourney golf teams made the trip to Marengo Golf Course for a triangular hosted by the Iowa Valley Tigers. The boys teams took home first with an aggregate score of 167, while the girls finished in third with an aggregate score of 246.

For the boys, Issac Bruns was the medalist on the day with a low score of 38. Clay Morse and Solon Yates tied for third with a final tally of 42. 

The rest of the Savages finished as follows: Brock Alderson-46, Josh Wyatt-47 and Cain Weber-53.

For the girls, Zoe Webb placed fifth with a final score of 54. Emma Hammes finished in 10th with a final tally of 59.

The rest of the Savages finished as follows: Krista Sellers-66, Rain Barthelman-69, Ellie Ireland-69 and Hannah Hanselman-70.

The Savages will return to action on May 1, when they host Ottumwa at Sigourney Golf and Country Club.
