SIGOURNEY/KEOTA–On June 7, the Sigourney-Keota trap team competed in the 2024 State Trap Meet in Cedar Falls.

It was a great day for all shooters, as many of the Sigourney-Keota shot team members scored personal best.

Sigourney-Keota Head Coach Zach Fox spoke on two particular athletes with, "I would like to point out that we had two athletes in the top 30 in the Men's Senior Division. Jax Weber and Gavin Khali." Jax Weber shot a 197/200, and Gavin Khali shot a 194/200.

Coach Fox had one more piece of sentiment that he wanted to share with the community. "We want to thank our sponsors and both the Sigourney and Keota community for supporting our fundraisers that makes all of this possible. We also want to thank the school districts for supporting our team. Thank you!" stated Coach Fox.
