NEW SHARON—On June 11, the Sigourney Savages made the trip to New Sharon for a conference matchup against the North Mahaska Warhawks. The Savages defeated the Warhawks by a final score of 12-0.

The Savage offense was once again led by junior Caden Clarahan, who continues to display that he is one of the best bats in the State of Iowa. Clarahan only went one for three at the plate, but he still found a way to plate three runners.

Seniors Jake Moore and Reid Molyneux also knocked in two runners apiece, while Cole McKay, Isaac Bruns, Ike Molyneux and Brady Clark each had an RBI.

Caden Clarahan also got the start from the bump, and cut through the Warhawks lineup with five innings pitched, no earned runs on one hit and 10 strikeouts.

The Savages push to 11-2 on the season with a conference record of 6-1. They will return to action on June 12 when they host Belle Plaine.
