Three Trojans Combine for 10 RBIs as HLV/TC Wins 24-1

McCallsburg—On June 26, the HLV/TC softball team visited the Colo-Nesco Royals for a non-conference matchup. The HLV/TC toppled the Royals by a final score of 24-1.

The HLV/TC team got an influx of runs from Tri-County athletes. Junior Lily Randall going perfect from the plate with two doubles, a single and five runs batted in. Fellow Tri-County junior Ayla Hall has tallied four RBIs on three singles. Reagan Molyneux also shined at the plate with three singles in four batting appearances and one run batted in.

Junior Lily Randall has been the best bat for the HLV/TC team all season, as she leads the team with 33 RBIs on the season. Her 33 runs batted in is the third most in the South Iowa Cedar League. Ayla Hall leads the team with a batting average of 0.500, which is third in the SICL. 

The HLV/TC team pushes to 15-5 on the season. They return to action on July 2, when they host the Montezuma Bravettes.
