Tri-County Boys Track Team Treks to Belle Plaine for Meet

BELLE PLAINE—On March 30, the Tri-County Trojans boys track team traveled to Belle Plaine high school for a meet. The Trojans placed 10th in the Class A division with an aggregate score of 10 points.

For the team events, the Trojans placed fifth in the 800 meter sprint medley relay with a time of 1:55.94. The sprint medley team is made up of Drew Fisher, Eli Molyneux, Keagan MacCready and Boston Roorda. 

For the individual events, Boston Roorda finished in eighth in the 800 meter run with a final time of 2:34.65. 

In the discus event, Jeremiah Seatton placed eight with a longest throw recorded at 87-08. 

Eli Molyneux finished in third in the long jump with a longest jump recorded at 18-02.50. 

Lastly for the individual events, Eli Molyneux placed fifth in the shot put event with a longest throw recorded at 34-02.00.

The Trojans boys track team will return to action on April 3, when they travel to Lone Tree high school for a meet.
