Tri-County Commences Track Season at Central Indoor Meet

PELLA—The Tri-County Trojans commenced their track season by traveling to Pella for the Central Indoor meet hosted by the Pekin Panthers. 

For the girls team events, the Trojans finished in fifth in the 55 Meter Shuttle Relay with a final time of 35.39. The Trojans girls also finished in second place in the 4x400 with a final time of 5:01.91. 

For the individual girls events, Lily Randall placed fourth in the long jump with a longest jump recorded at 14-02. Peyton Icenbice finished sixth in the shot put with a longest throw recorded at 27-02. 

For the boys, the Trojans 4x200 team finished sixth with a final time of 1:48.61. In the 55 Meter Shuttle Relay, the Trojans placed fifth with a final time of 32.33.
