Tri-County Elementary Students Raise $1,776 for American Heart Association, Pie PE Teacher

THORNBURG – The Tri-County Elementary school held a Kid Heart Challenge fundraiser. PK-6th Grade Students raised a total of $1,776.07 for the American Heart Association. The top scoring classes were: Bari Parrott’s fifth grade class, who raised $268.48; Jill Hall’s preschool class, which raised $353.56; and Michaela Lundy’s third grade class, which raised $456.16. Lundy and the top students of each grade were all allowed to throw a pie in the face of PE teacher Dylan Springer.
