Tri-County Softball Tops Keota

KEOTA—On June 21, the Keota Eagles hosted the Tri-County Trojans for a conference matchup. The Trojans topped the Eagles by a final score of 16-0.

The Trojans were able to tally all 16 runs in the first three innings of play. The Trojan offense had three players tally two RBIs on the day: Ayla Hall, Alyssa Conrad and Sadie McKain. Macy Schmidt, Tessa Fischer and Emery Hall all also secured an RBI on the day for the Trojans. 

Delanie Little got the start from the bump, and finished her day with three innings pitched, no earned runs on no hits and five strikeouts. 

The Trojans push to 9-7 on the season, and will return to action on June 23, when they visit the Sigourney Savages.

The Eagles fall to 0-14 on the season, and will return to action on June 23, when they visit the Belle Plaine Plainsmen.
