Wolver, Hampton, Coleman and Adam Earn All-Conference Honors
The Pekin Panthers baseball team had four players selected to the SEISC all-conference teams:JaeDon Wolver, Levi Coleman, Deklan Hampton and Will Adam.
JaeDon Wolver-First team utility:
Junior JaeDon Wolver wrapped up his season with the Panthers with a batting average of 0.339 and nine runs batted in. From the pitcher’s mound, Wolver finished with 19.2 innings pitched, an ERA of 6.05, 29 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.98.
Wolver will look to replicate a successful season for the Panthers, when he returns for his senior year.
Levi Coleman-Second team infielder:
Levi Coleman finished his final season with the Panthers with a selection to the second all-conference team as an infielder.
Coleman had a batting average of 0.292 and 16 runs batted in. As a pitcher, Coleman finished with 28 innings pitched, an ERA of 6.00, 21 strikeouts and a WHIP of 2.18.
Coleman concludes his final season in a Panther uniform with a selection to the second all-conference team.
Deklan Hampton-Second team outfielder:
Junior Deklan Hampton concluded his season with a batting average of 0.351 and eight runs batted in. He finished with the highest batting average on the Panthers of the starters.
Hampton will look to build of the successful season, when he returns for his senior
Will Adam-Second team utility:
Sophomore Will Adam finished his second season with the Panthers with a batting average of 0.346 and 18 runs batted in. His 18 RBIs were a team high.
Adam will look to replicate the great sophomore season, when he returns for his junior year.
