Macy Schmidt and Chloe Zittergruen of Tri-County Make All-SICL Volleyball Team

Coach Sydney Davis had the following quotes on both Trojans who made the All-SICL.

On Macy Schmidt: Macy is a sophomore this year, she played all the way around for me. She led our team this year in both kills from outside hitter and digs playing left back as well. Macy improved a ton this year by what I call being “volleyball smart”. She did a great job of seeing the floor on the other side and knowing what she needed to do to score. She was my captain this year and an overall leader on the floor. 

On Chloe Zittergruen: Chloe was our one and only freshman this year. I was excited to see what Chloe was going to bring to the floor while playing on a traveling team during the off season. She definitely came out with a bang. She showed me that even though she was young that she wanted time on the varsity floor this year. Chloe stepped in the position of our libero. She did a great job of hustling to balls, being smart and being a big young leader in the back row for the majority of plays. Chloe came in second for the most digs on our team this year.
