Duwa and Fisher make Shrine Bowl

Senior Brady Duwa of Sigourney-Keota has been named to the Iowa Shrine Bowl which takes place on July 24, 2021.

Duwa, who has been named to the Class 1A First Team in 2019 and 2020 by the Des Moines Register was also named the Cobra special teams MVP at the conclusion of the 2020 season.

Duwa led the state in punt return yards with 325.

Junior Kristen Fisher of English Valleys has also made it to the Shrine Bowl.

Fisher, a cheerleader for the Bears, will be raising money for the Shriners Hospital for Children along with Duwa.
