Pekin finishes runner-up at Trojan Relays

FAIRFIELD – Pekin competed against Fairfield, Oskaloosa, Central Lee, Van Buren and Keokuk on April 13 and placed second in the six-team meet.

The host Trojans scored 140 points to win the meet, Pekin had 116, Oskaloosa had 111, the Central Lee Hawks had 74 and were tied with the Van Buren County Warriors, Keokuk had 66.

Pekin’s four wins came in the 800 meter run (Zack Wise, 2:13.73), 1600 meter run (Brady Millikin, 4:45.67), 3200 meter run (Millikin, 10:26.33) and Distance Medley Relay (Stull, Sobaski, Wolver and Millikin, 3:51.53)
