Pekin Panthers Football Holds Commitment Day

On February 2, the Pekin Panthers hosted commitment day for their football program. 28 total kids came to the event, with six more to commit who weren’t able to make it. The students had their pictures taken next to the 1982 and 1983 state championship trophies as well as two Pekin helmets with a football sandwiched between them. The Panthers brought in guest speakers Sergeant Kyle Green, Ryan Swanson, Christian Wittrock and Chase Copeland to give the students motivation for the next season.
