Marion Dale Streigle, 1956-2023

Marion Dale Streigle, 67, died September 8, 2023, at the Manor House in Sigourney, Iowa. He was born August 27, 1956 to Marion Lee and Reta Christy Flanegin Streigle in Big Spring, Texas Air Force Base. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1974, and Iowa State University majoring in science. He taught at Clarence Lowden High School. Dale went back to graduate school at Iowa State; he was an Associate Professor in the science field at Iowa State and a Professor at Grinnell College. He moved to Boulder City, Nevada and taught at Green Valley High School in Henderson, Nevada and retired in June of 2020.

He was a member of The Rife Club and The Elks. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Delbert and Minnie Streigle and Bert and Rena Flanegin. He is survived by his parent’s Marion and Reta Streigle, his sisters Sherry (David) Goldman of Sigourney, Christy (Ted) Bates of Sigourney, Nephews Jason and Brandon Goldman, Eric and Spencer Bates, niece, Chelsey Bates Snakenberg, 14 Great- Nieces and Nephews, with many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and close friends.
