Family Dollar/Dollar Tree Opens in Sigourney

SIGOURNEY – The new Family Dollar/Dollar Tree combination store in Sigourney opened on Jan. 25. The store will have a proper opening on Feb. 15, which will come with face painting, gift card giveaway and a food truck. The store is located at 110 N. Main, across the street from the Casey’s and Arnold Motor Supply. 

The Family Dollar section of the door sells groceries, cleaning supplies, clothing and toiletries, most of which cost less than $10. The Dollar Tree section features decorations, greeting cards, party supplies and seasonal items, most of which are priced at $1.25. The two halves of the store share a register and are treated as one store.
