MarchMania Bracket Challenge Rules 2024

The News-Review is hosting a basketball bracket challenge for the NCAA Tournament sponsored by Helmuth Ford and Grant Ranch Grub & Pub. A gift card and Grant Ranch Swag will be awarded to the winner of the men’s bracket challenge and a free oil change and Helmuth Ford sweatshirt will be awarded to the winner of the women’s bracket challenge. 

Fill out the bracket(s) (men and/or women’s) and turn them into The News-Review before 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 21. Drop it off at 120 E. Washington St. Sigourney OR email Sean Strohmayer (Sports Editor) at sports@sigourneynewsreview.com.

A winner will be decided for each tournament. Winners will be determined by who accumulates the most

points throughout each bracket. Points will be awarded for correct picks.Tiebreakers in each bracket will be decided by the total number of points scored in the championship game. If there’s a tie with correct picks, the tie will be determined by the entry coming closest to the total number of points scored in the respective championship game.
