MONROE/WAPELLO—The SK Soccer team started their season with a trip to Monroe for a matchup against the PCM Mustangs. The SK team fell by a final score of 3-0.

They bounced back in the second matchup of the week, this one against the Wapello Indians. The SK soccer team secured the victory over the Indians by a final score of 3-2. Jackson Vittetoe found the back of the net twice, while Chase Haifley assisted on one of those goals, as well as netting one of his own.

In net, Wells Clark held a clean sheet in relief with eight saves and no goals given up.

The SK soccer team continues their road stretch to start the season as they head to Highland (0-2) on April 2 then head to Central Lee (0-0) on April 5.
