Athlete of the Week: Anna Hadley

The athlete of the week for the week of April 1 is Anna Hadley of the Pekin Panthers girls track team.

Hadley took home first place in the shot put and second in the discus event in the Jane Astor Relays. Her throw of 39 '10” ½ in the shot put event was close to the 41' 0” mark needed to qualify for the Drake Relays in the event. 

She has already secured her spot in the 2024 Drake Relay for the discus event with a personal record of 140.09.
