The athlete of the week for the week of April 29 is Gage Heyne of the English Valleys boys track team.
Heyne captured the triple crown at the 2024 SICL Meet at Iowa Valley with first place finishes in the 800, the 1600 and the 3200. He also set a course record in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:59.28.
The News-Review would like to congratulate English Valleys’ Gage Heyne on a spectacular week of play.
