Athlete of the Week: McKinley Chittick

The athlete of the week for the week of May 6 is McKinley Chittick of the Sigourney Savages girls track team. 

Chitick, a state qualifier in 2023 for the high jump, earned herself a trip back to the Blue Oval in Des Moines with a highest jump record at 4-10.

When asked about her goals for the State Meet, Chittick responded with, “I am trying to clear 5 feet. I was unable to do that last year, so I hope I can do that this year.”
