The athlete of the week for the week of May 20 is Reid Molyneux of the Sigourney Savages baseball team.

Molyeux went 1-2 with two walks and a double, and scored one of the Savages three runs in the win over Belle Plaine on Monday

The highlight of the week for Molyeux came in the bottom of the sixth in the game against Keota. The bases were loaded and each team scored five runs. Molyeux slashes a single to bring home two runners and give the Savages the 7-5 lead with only three outs.
