Pekin Releases Superintendent Survey

PACKWOOD – Pekin CSD has recently hired Grundmeyer Leader Services to assist in a search for a new full-time superintendent. The district has released an anonymous survey for parents, staff and members of the community to fill out, asking what qualities they want in a superintendent. The survey can be accessed at https://tinyurl.com/PekinSuperintendent.

“The interim period for the Pekin superintendency is coming to a close, and we want to thank Jeff Maeder for his commitment to the district as we kick off the search process. Mr. Maeder will be assisting with the search for a new superintendent,” said the Pekin School Board in a statement.

The survey will close on Jan. 10. The application period will end on Jan. 19. Candidates will be presented to the board on Jan. 22. Interviews will be held on Jan. 27, with a second interview being held on Jan. 31 if needed.
